Cheat system requirements: what to check before buying

A cheat that does not fit your computer simply will not launch. Different cheats have different requirements — here is what they usually include.

Where to find the requirements

Every product page has a “System requirements” tab. Requirements differ between products: supported Windows versions, CPUs and additional conditions are listed on the page of the selected product. 846 products in the catalog list their requirements.

Windows version

Most cheats work on Windows 10 and Windows 11: Windows 10 is mentioned in the requirements of 645 products, Windows 11 in 404. Sometimes the Windows build matters too — it is also stated in the requirements.

CPU

Most cheats support both Intel and AMD processors: Intel is mentioned in the requirements of 638 products, AMD in 636. If only one vendor is listed, the cheat may not launch on the other.

BIOS settings

Some cheats need specific BIOS/UEFI settings:

  • UEFI — mentioned for 95 products;
  • virtualization (Intel VT-x / AMD SVM) — for 70;
  • Secure Boot — for 66;
  • TPM — for 18.

Whether a setting must be on or off is stated in the requirements of the specific cheat.

How to check your computer

  • Windows version: press Win + R and type winver.
  • CPU: Settings → System → About.
  • BIOS mode and Secure Boot: Win + R → msinfo32 — the “BIOS Mode” and “Secure Boot State” lines.
  • TPM: Win + R → tpm.msc.
